Meet the Maker Month: Eden of Eden's Ears

I'm a born and raised Montrealer and now split my time between Montreal, the Laurentians, and NYC. As a graduate student, Eden's Ears allows me a creative outlet between time spent researching and writing.

What era inspires you the most? The 70s. I love the eccentric colors and bold shapes.

What do you love the most about your medium? Polymer clay is extremely versatile! I also love how lightweight it is. Big earrings shouldn't have to weigh down your earlobes, and polymer clay is a great option.

What are Eden's Ears' beliefs? Jewelry is for everyone. Eden’s Ears aims to be an inclusive company. We support the Queer BIPoC Mental Health Counseling Fund and The Bail Project.

What does being a Maker mean to you? Being a Maker means that I get to help people express themselves and experiment with their style! Do you accept commissions? Yes, I love working on custom orders.

What initially drew you to your craft? I was initially drawn to working with clay because of its meditative nature. I love working with my hands, and polymer clay allows me both a respite and creative outlet.

What three adjectives would you use to describe your work? Accessible, versatile, sincere.
